Study French with ESA

ESA offers two French language programs:

  • Option one: Institut Catholique
  • A complete university-level course (approximately 60 contact hours) during the month of July. Receive four semester credit hours or eight quarter units. Learn more about this prestigious school below.

  • Option two: Survival French
  • An ESA-faculty led introductory French program (approximately 30 contact hours). Includes a Survival French language class plus Survival French Culture. Academic credit varies.

  • Individual instruction:
  • ESA's experienced language teachers also offer a tutorial service for students wishing assistance with their language study.

ESA works closely with the Institut Catholique de Paris, a private French university of international reputation, to provide you with the very best language instruction available in Paris. Small classes, excellent teachers, up-to-date materials, a pleasant 5-minute walk from our residence make learning French fun. Inquire about these special programs: "Business French" and "Teaching French as a Foreign Language." In addition, you may participate in ESA's extensive civilization program and special activities.
