With all eyes on Paris, July 2024 will be a year like no other so ESA has switched things up and planned new activities, new sites and new talks that will inform and delight even our most seasoned alumni! Join us for an exciting July in Paris!

Academic Program Options

Survival French ($0 additional): 50 hours of language instruction, taught by ESA faculty

Institut Catholique ($800 additional); 15 hours of language instruction weekly at the Institut Catholique

Housing Options

Note that housing options may not all be available immediately as we have allocated a certain number of rooms to each campus. If you don't receive your first choice, we will put you on a wait list for it.

Ste. Famille Twin / Shared bath ($0 additional): Rooms for 2 people with two beds, desks, dressers. Sink in room. Shared toilet and showers in hallway. Breakfast daily. Dinner weekdays (except July 14). Breakfast daily. Dinner weeknights (except July 14).

Ste. Famille Single / shared bath ($300 additional): Rooms for 1 person with bed, desk, dresser, sink. Shared toilet and showers in hallway. Breakfast daily. Dinner weekdays (except July 14). Includes single room on weekend trip.

Condé Twin / Private bath ($0 additional): Room for 2 people with two beds, desks, dressers. Private bathroom with shower, sink & toilet. Breakfast daily.

Condé Single / Private bath: ($600 additional). Room for 1 person with bed, desk, dresser. Private bathroom with shower, sink & toilet. Breakfast daily. Includes single room on weekend trip.

LIMITED AVAILABILITY: Family Stay ($350 additional). Private room with shared bath. Breakfast daily. Dinner two nights/week.

Group Flight:

Airfare is NOT included in the ESA program fee. For an additional cost, you can take advantage of our low-fare group flights. They include transportation to/from Paris airports and the dorms. See the Group Flights area of the What does it cost? page. Note that group flights cannot be modified and are nonrefundable.

Cancelations & Refunds:

Anyone whose application cannot be accepted will have all payments refunded.

Refund requests postmarked before April 1, 2024, are subject to a $150 cancellation fee.

Cancellations postmarked April 1 to May 14, 2024, will be subject to a $500 cancellation fee.

Cancellations postmarked after May 14, 2024, will be subject to a $1000 cancellation fee.

Cancellations postmarked after May 25, 2024, are subject to a $1800 cancellation fee.

As of June 20, 2024, there are no refunds.

Although ESA will try to effect necessary changes in academic courses after the beginning of a program, no refunds for course changes can be made because of flight scheduling, weather or unforeseen changes.
